For this summer, i am just going to stay in the country, work at the camp, and maybe go out of the state. I will be with my friends for the whole summer though, so thats good.

To Kill a Mockingbird

To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the best adaptations of a book to a movie I think ever.

I have read a few dystopian books and i thought they were ok but i would really like to read the book Ship Breaker. It sounds like a intense book.

distopian society

I do not like or want to live in a distopian society because it would be a horrible life. One example is in this book called "The hunger games" because from what I here about the book every year there are 24 kids selected to fight to the death every year and that to me sounds like hell(but if I had the choice between that distopian society and another one I would choose this one)

i like to read about others discomforts because it makes small problems that happen daily seem microscopic. dystopia is pretty much a land of horrors that people are terrified of. so it makes us feel better when we read about them under the genre "fiction." im not saying that im not a dystopian. i love to read about peoples misfortunes. im just saying that it is an odd craze in teen literature.

Like Sammy said, the media likes to focous on celeberties that are in really bad positions. Either adicited to something or other or in an unsuccessful realtionship or else going through something bad. I don't know if that is because that's what sells best or to make us feel better about our problems or both. Some celeberties that the media has gone crazzy about are Liandsay Lohan and Michel Jackson.

well, Americans have gone through many recessions, depressions but most off all obsessions. an early obsession is Anna Nichole Smith. she was considered a "sex symbol" in America. she was pretty much a porn star who was called a model. a more recent case was Lindsay Lohan who has been in jail, rehab, and pretty much every court in America. Recently she was caught on tape stealing a necklace. Does she not understand? during the Lohan fiasco Britney Spears had a break-down and shaved her head. She just came out with a new hit "hold it against me." Maybe no one remembers her breakdown. Now, the newest craze, Charlie Sheen has entered the headlines with his drug addiction. Maybe we are reading into celebrities too much and are just too interested in other peoples lives. If it wasn't a celebrity it would be called nosy but since it is we call it "buzz." Their lives are just like ours except they are being magnified by the press. Anyway, I just wanted to say that Charlie Sheen will be out of the news soon and in will come a new celebrity and we will forget all about Charlie'a "tiger blood."

Watch this. I decided to focus on all celebrities. The press likes people who are eaither on drugs, or in cheating on somebody ect. The press kind of seem to tare them down, rather then try to help them. Anything they do is a big deal, like in they said in the video, britney parked wrong and even thats a big deal. this guy is going to die and we are just watching him suffer. His first stop in his 'tour' (which he will just say crazy things in) sold out in 18 minutes. Lucy's right about the car crash thing. Sirius XM radio is making a channel about him. I think that this is crazy but when you really think about it people will watch it. He makes me wonder what everyone would do if there were no crazy irrational wild cracked guy that we could monitor? i just don't understand why the media is so frenzied about one guy.

Charlire Sheen Interviews

Ok this guy really needs to get help...he is out of his mind!!!!!!!!! This is only a short clip of an interview but there are way more that I have seen where he says stuff like "The only drug I'm on is Charlie Sheen" and he makes comments about warlocks and being a rockstar from mars and that he is not bipolar he's "biwinning." "I am not from this terrestrial realm," and "I have tiger blood," are just some of the ridiculous things Charlie Sheen said in this interview. I think that the press is obsessing over him because it like driving by a car crash, you cant help but look. The press know people will be interested in it, and he is saying some really crazy things. He used to be really funny in his hit TV show two and a half men, where he was making 1.8 million dollars an episode, he was the highest paid actor on TV. Now he has been kicked off of the show for drug use and the show has stopped running. He also said, "The last time I took drugs I probably took more then anybody could survive." I think he is bragging about his use of drugs, which is ridiculous in my opinion. This is why i think the press is interested in this subject so much.

I (unlike Harrison) don't have a strong dislike of Valentine's Day. It was actually a celabration of St. Valentine. I don't really see any reason to hate it. A lot of stores and corperations take advantage of the opertunity to sell people even more junk then they would be selling anyway.

I would like to meet Charlotte Bronte (author of Jane Eyre) or Louisa May Alcott (author of Little Women). I wrote a letter to each of them last year for my author letters. Of course they did not write back. But I think that it is very creepy and scary to interview some one who is dead.

What I want to do next quarter

I wnt to write about my travels and interview a dead person and I want everyone to post 500 times total. I want to post really long stories on the blog.

I'm not really sure what my favorite movie/TV show is. I know it is not Cleaning the House or Glee. I used to really like the movie Mary Poppins. I don't actually have cable TV and as a result I don't watch many TV shows. One movie I watched recently and really liked, was The Kings Speech, which even though it is rated R, the only sceen that seems like it should be rated R is one where they curse a lot.

I do not have a favorite movie or TV shows (I don't watch any.) My life is School and Home, Friends and Family.

Here are some things I do instead:

1. Be a big sister, daughter, friend.... (I try very hard to be a good example, and I have three littler girls looking up to me. Clara is ten, Frida is eight and Melissa is going to be five months old tomorrow.)

I try to be nice and good.

2. Do home work and school work.

3. Go to CVS ect. with Maria (sometimes Melissa and my sisters.)

4. Play flute.

5. (Do the dishes, clear the table, wash the table, set the table, pick up the things from the floor, shovel the snow, vacuum, sweep, neaten, clean, make the beds, pick out the clothes, help make dinner/breakfast/pack lunches/make lunch, straighten, dusting a little sometimes, turn off the lights, organize, wash mirrors, wash floors, wash surfaces, toilet and bathtub, fold laundry, work the washing and drying machines, make morning smoothie, feed the dog and cat, (and the people) make the computer work, change the sheets and pillow cases, in the summer hang the laundry on the clothes line, take it down, check to see if its dry, change the toilet paper, bla bla bla bla bla ect. ect. ect. ect. ect. ..... who cares!)

bla These are things that I do a lot when you may be watching TV. I like to do these chores and jobs, but I do work very hard on them because I like to do them well. It is strange but I could write more.
